Okay since I need a little break from my daily stuff, I'll go and finally answer these myself:

1. Duh! Of cause I would! The city has everything. It's super big with sky scrapers but has the flair of a small town with cute cafés and alley ways, parks and the likes. AND a beach! Also: Magic.
2. That depends. I guess as a kid it would've been much different from today. I guess now I would work in some lovely shop or just be rich and sit on my flowery terrace, drawing all day long. As a kid I used to dream about moving to the outskirts into a house with a big garden and of cause I developed magical powers. I think there was a portal to another world somewhere between the hedges and I had a falcon as a friend. Naturally I went to Sheffields. Now that I know there's a second school, I'd be curious to see how daily life there would be like. Either way I'd spend lots of time on the hills that overlook town or down by the ocean.
3. Pfft... I guess Taranee and Hay Lin would be the ones I'd come across naturally. Taranee through dance school (Love to dance myself) and Hay Lin through the drawing hobby. But on a personal basis I guess I'd get along best with Will on the long run. I'd love to meet Orube, too and Peter and Joel. I'm sure those guys are fun to just hang out with.
4. Already answered that I guess: hills overlooking the town or somewhere down by the water. Maybe also a nice little café or the bookshop.

Tralalalaaaa.... I just made a blog post about how I panel (picking the positioning of panels on a comic page). Yey for that.
Aaaaand I don't know what music I should listen to.

Do you mean the very last issue with that black haired lady? Technically they're not holding hands but she's massively flirting with him and he doesn't do anything against it.
It's said that she's a friend of his and Will is very jealous, enough to throw a cake down from Kandrakar just to hit her and make her stay away. She then justifies her actions by saying that she's a Sovereign but also in love. So... I guess this could be interpreted as:
a) they're still together and she just doesn't like another woman getting near Matt OR
b) they're not together but Will still loves him or maybe used to love him and is surprisingly cool about not being together anymore. Apart from throwing cake.

I guess you can interpret it either way but I figured if they had them split up, they would've mentioned it officially like in issue 128-129 OR had him move away from Heatherfield like the other poor boyfriends that were cut out of the story...

But I feel you. It's kind of up in the air after their break-up and getting back together again.

Now to your question:
At the end of the original comics only Will and Cornelia have a boyfriend, Matt and Peter. Irma's and Hay Lin's boyfriends have moved away and Taranee's at some point just didn't show up any more.
I will definitely bring the two boyfriends up in the first issue, maybe second but I don't want to get into too much detail just now as to how they are involved in the new comic series. That's mostly just to not spoil the surprise (if there will be one) I hope you understand.

So Matt and Peter will definitely be named and shown at least once, possibly be integrated into the later series as a bigger role; while the other three girls are (potentially) single and open for new relationships. If one of the three already has a new boyfriend, I'd also not like to spoiler just yet. But the whole "who's dating who" will be a topic in the first issue.
